Beanie Baby

I have exams coming up (first one on the tenth of january), and I have been noticing over the past few weeks that being at home, studying really saps my creative juices. I don’t feel like choosing a cool outfit, putting on make up or even washing my hair. I’m sort of gross and really boring. I just throw on something wooly and oversized and some silly festive socks and call it a day. I don’t even have that much to do, I only have 3 exams of which one is an open book exam, and another will only give us questions that we were given earlier by the professor, so I’m not even stressing out or anything. I just don’t feel like making an effort. I ALWAYS feel like making an effort, so this definitely feels alien to me.
ANYWAY I took a day off from studying to go check out THE SALES! They officially started today and I couldn’t NOT go. I was especially interested in Zara, since they often put things back in store that had disappeared from the racks earlier in the season, and I totally got lucky! I had my eye on this adorable polkadotted dress with a peter pan collar (a major fetisj of mine, especially after getting SO into Mad Men lately) that I spotted online on the Zara webshop and on some bloggers, but my store didn’t have them and the sales assistants didn’t even know what dress I was talking about, so it wasn’t sold out. And today I walked right into a full rack of them, so you bet your ass I got my dress! I also bought two beautiful sheer printed blouses at Zara, very miumiu. One has a bird print and the other has a cat print, so very irresistible. Can’t wait to style them up, especially with that denim jumper dress I ordered off etsy that should be arriving any day now!
Exciting fashion stuffz, yeah. Did you guys score some sales treasures yet? The city was MURDER by the way, don’t go unless you are an experienced sales shopper, and preferably go alone. You’ll lose too much time waiting for friends or finding each other again after being separated by EVIL WOMEN pushing prams through the already cramped clothesstore. I totally think women who go shopping with their small children on THE FIRST DAY OF SALES should get fined. Come on, get a babysitter or wait yo.

  19. hehe I almost got that shirt with the cats in Zara last week in Spain, but the ones that were left were all frail and had threads hanging so I passed on it, regrettably :( By the way, on the colour of your cardigan, Zara has so many things! I've seen you sport this autumn shade before and thought of you when I was in a Mango store (also in Spain) that same day I spotted the Zara shirt :)
