Another day of me wearing my holiday sweaters to try and get all the wear I can out of them before it becomes inappropriate (if wearing holiday sweaters can ever be inappropriate). Best way to wear your cozy knitwear into the new year and prepare for spring? Combine that shiz with florals! Try to stay in the same color palette to create some harmony. It was really nice in the sun today, not cold at all! It feels so weird, winter has only officially started like 3 weeks ago and it's already feeling like we're nearing spring. Not that I mind, I can't wait to get back to dressing like this:
I have my first exam coming up tomorrow, so wish me luck! I'm not nervous at all, I understand all the material and I think I have it all mapped out in my head. Plus, it's an oral exam and I love oral exams. They allow me to show my understanding of the material, and the professor is a real cool dude (the one that reminds me of Einstein, I told you guys about him before) so I'm looking forward to it.
Haha I just found an old picture of him in my university's website:
<3
dress: Pimkie
cardi, socks: New Look
boots, birdpin: ASOS
PS: yeah, that's the remains of our christmastree right there next to me. And that's its fallen needles I'm standing in, yeah. I'm basically posing in christmastree blood. Do I have too much imagination?
PPS: I'm probably this excited about my exam tomorrow because I'm taking it as an excuse to go check out the sales again. Uni = 5 minutes walking distance from main shopping district in Antwerp. OHYEAH
Haha, too funny that you posted a pic of your prof on here! I adore that reindeer sweater and would probably wear it year round just because it is sooo amazing!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute holiday sweater!!! I wish I would have had one for the holiday season and beyond!! I think it is fine to continue wearing the sweater - even if the holidays are over!!

you and your sales! you should show us a picture of your closet sometime.
ReplyDeleteLove the intricate little print of your dress! Wear those holiday sweaters! Go, Annebeth, Go!
I can't wait for spring, either. Nevermind that there's still like two-three more months...
love the socks with the boots, and the dress with the jacket are perfect!!!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your exam. I'm so glad this is over for me, though I'm thinking of taking up night classes so you never know.
ReplyDeleteLove the knee socks over tights and I love florals.
Cute outfit, I think that you should definitely wear that sweater all year round! I love how its colour matches the red spots in the pattern of the dress - elaborate and sophisticated <3 ...and I'm head-over-heels about over-the-knee socks, so you're officially my style icon :)
ReplyDeleteHey, and your teacher is really cute (can one say that about a dignified professor? :)), good luck with the exam!
Love, Andrea
Good luck with your exam! And you look so cute in your sweater. It's quite sophisticated for a holiday sweater. I'd wear it to the ski lodge, to the mall, out for coffee..you get the idea. It's a cool sweater:)
ReplyDeleteOooh I love it!!! I want the sweater, hehe :D
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the exam
