What's her name, Virginia Plain

Another curly day! I still love my hair curly but I’m also still afraid to damage my hair. My hair is like a virgin: it hasn’t been colored since I was 14, so all the hair that was damaged by the hairdye has been cut off already, and I don’t use straighteners or blow driers. Using a curling iron almost feels like a breach of the bond of trust I share with my hair. If I don’t damage it, it will be shiny and silky, just for me! Maybe I’ll screw up :(
Is a straightener used as a curling iron really that dangerous? Be honest, I can take it.
Problem with curls is that it kind of forces me to dress really romantically, and while I love that style a lot and wear it almost all the time in summer and spring, in fall and winter my style seems to gravitate towards harder looks. Curls would not look nice with that. So I’m still not entirely sure whether I’ll get the perm. And if I get one, I’d better get one next spring so I can enjoy it all summer long?

I saw Bangkok Dangerous (the remake) yesterday. Boy, what DIDN’T they change with that ridiculous remake? The original was so much better in every single way (a total recommendation by the way, if you can handle some violence at least). And what the hell is up with Nicholas Cage’s hair?

Please, don’t tell me that he irreversibly ruined it by using a straightening iron to curl it. I do not want my hair to ever look that raggedy.
 dress: mango
belt: vintage
shoes: h&m

This dress is one of my floral faves, all orange and romantic and reminding me of the countryside. I love it when my dresses make me look a bit like a farmgirl, albeit a highly glamorized version. The type you see in editorials, with miu miu clogs and chanel eyelet dresses. I love glamorized farmgirls.
