HEATWAVE

Like I said yesterday, my boyfriend had taken the day off to go to the coast and oh my, it sure was a lovely day at the beach! It was incredibly hot, but the waves and the sea breeze kept us cool. I swam in the ocean, read a book, got a little sunburned, ate sandwiches (with real sand! :D) and just really enjoyed the lovely weather. Thank god we were at the beach: Belgium is experiencing a proper heatwave at the moment. Temperatures reached 40° celsius in some parts of Belgium, so 29° at sea sounded like heaven. It was too hot to do anything but walk slowly to the beach, rolling around in the water and dozing off on a towel. When we drove home, we stopped by my mom’s house because her cat had kittens (zomg cute!!) and then we hurried home to watch Brazil – Holland! Some of you might know I am a Dutch girl living in Belgium with my Belgian boyfriend (who is a major Brazil fan, might I add), so while I cheered on Holland, my boyfriend was getting quite pissed as Brazil actually lost to our team!!! I couldn’t believe it, but it is quite f*ing awesome! Go Holland all the way! After that, we made some banana milkshake and then I absolutely tired of the constant heat, so that was the end of my lovely friday.

Excuse me for only wearing a swimsuit (and my new hat) in these pictures, not really an outfit. But this is what I wore, so this is what you get! It’s a h&m bikini from that collection that Daria Werbowy modeled, I loved the tribal print and finally got the bikini. I love hot pink and I like the way it looks on me. I might be getting a new bikini in the sales (like I do every year), but I haven’t seen one I really liked.

EDIT: haha I just forgot the most important part! I just got my grades, and I passed all the exams with great results!!! I'm so incredibly HAPPY!!
