VALENTINE





Don't break don't break my heart, or I'll rip your heart print stockings (see what I did there, customizing some Marilyn Manson lyrics like it's nobody's business).
Like I told you guys, my boyfriend isn't exactly the romantic type. However, yesterday he called me over and told me to look in the refridgerator. I saw a small box, and when I opened it on his instigation I saw the cutest little heart shaped cakes! This was the very first time he had ever done anything for me on for Valentine's day in our seven year long relationship so I was actually really moved. I'm not the biggest fan of ridiculously romantic stuff but I have to admit that when I saw those little cakes, I let out a squeal of joy and threw my arms around my boyfriend's neck and started showering him with kisses!


They were delicious, and I love you, honey!

Outfit: I wanted to wear my pretty red cardi, and this skirt and these tights had a bit of red in them as well so I grabbed those, and I wanted to up the cute and dowdy factor by wearing flats, so there you have it!

    Aaaawwww you look adorable! :) I dig your sweater, I love love Norwegian patterns on clothes! And these tights are wonderful, I didn't know H&M has these. Will have to take a look as soon as my shopping ban is over.

    That skirt has excellent swoosh-factor!! ^-^ I really love how the whole outfit is rather conservative but you have a funky tee peaking out from beneath your sweater, and your stockings are so adorable (and appropriate for the holiday)! I enjoyed the little story about the surprise your boyfriend gave you- that is really so sweet!! I just finished a nice generous slice of some delicious Valentine's cake my family bought today...Mmmmmm!!! Happy Valentine's Day!! :D xoxo

    I love how you have a Beatles tee on, too. It's perfect for v-day since the Beatles are such a love song institution.

    This outfit is so cute- it's romantic in a sort-of hipster kind of way (that's meant in a good way). I think it's the sweater, and the pairing of the t-shirt with the skirt. And then there's those tights, which I wished I had when I woke up this morning... yeah, I'd definitely wear this outfit.

    LOVE your tights! I tried hard to find a pair of heart shaped tights before Valentine's Day rolled around, but I just couldn't. Ahh well. I also really like your sweater. The t-shirt is unexpected, but you definitely pull it off well!
