The only plusside of the return of chilly winter temperatures? The opportunity to pull out my leopard coat again! I'm still a complete nincompoop when it comes to pairing this beauty with anything other than black. I have no idea why, as I'm usually someone who layers print upon print and color upon color sans doubt. Any tips? I just went a bit sixties with the over the knee boots and my cute peter pan collared babydoll dress. Simple, yes, but every piece seems to work in this particular mix.
A lot of you asked about my nails yesterday, so I'll explain what I did! I got my idea over at the Cherry Blossom Girl (check it out for pictures of the tutorial) but I wanted to try some spring-ier colors and went with blue on green. Just apply base coat, than the green, let it dry, stick on the stickers, paint top color over it, let it dry, remove stickers (and any glue residu!) and do a top coat et voila. Very easy and it looks rather cool.
I've got a fracking bad headache right now (that time of the month) so I'm logging off! Have a lovely evening, ladies and gentlemen!
coat: Zara
dress: ASOS
tights: Pimkie
boots: Texto
i love it how you always seem to be in halfway equilibrium on your pictures (tip toeing!)
ReplyDeleteand i also think that the peterpan collar adds a great touch to this outfit!
it does look amazing with all black, i reckon it would look really great with red too! red and leopard are so vampish :) hope your headache gets better hun xo
ReplyDeleteI loveee this coat. I just ordered one from Forever 21 on sale.. I couldn't turn down the leopard trend. For some reason I see your coat with aquas or oranges. Jeez, it would look amazing with anything!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this look! Total Perfection:D

i love the peter pan collared dress with the racier boots and coat!!
ReplyDeleteI just got some hi-liter yellow nail polish I'm not sure what to do with, haha. maybe stars?
Cool dress, and even cooler coat! I have a leopard print jacket already, but I could always use another one...this is actually what I always dreamed of wearing on my 21st birthday (btw, 21 is kinda a big deal here since it's the legal drinking age...although I don't drink very much anymore, so I guess it doesn't matter for me!) but I'll be in HOT AND DRY Arizona for my bday, so I guess I'll have to ditch the coat.
ReplyDeleteIn case I haven't told you before, your coat is glorious. Leopard print and red is one of my favorite combinations... I'm not really sure why, but I just think it works so well! Though quite honestly, I think you could wear it with almost anything.

Cute!! I would never have the guts to rock a coat like that. <3
ReplyDeleteHey, leopard+black is always a classic, but I'd love to see it over a deep red or purple.
ReplyDeleteThat dress is so damn cute! I'm pretty jealous of it, I must say.
And hey, nothing wrong with simple. And I'm pretty sure a leopard print coat negates any simplicity found elsewhere in the outfit, haha.
Sorry your head's achin' :(
