Hey guyzzzzz what's up? How's it hangin'? We had another amazingly gorgeous springday over here. Warm, slightly breezy, sunny: perfect. Why can't every day be like this?
After school/work my boyfriend and I went for a little walk on the Schelde banks to enjoy the sunshine and we encountered a little, frail old lady who was lost. She didn't look like she had the power to walk all the way back so my boyfriend got the car and drove as close up as possible to give her a ride to the nursing home she was from, and I walked her little walking cart thingy all the way back. She was so sweet and thankful for our help, and we felt supergood for doing our good deed of the day. Such a tiny little thing walking there all by herself, who knows what could've happened if she had met some less friendly folk, or no one at all? She seemed to be at the end of her strength.
I love old people.

Love your sunnies! I always get scared to think of my lil ol' grandma trying to walk around by herself PLUS she doesn't speak english--- you guys are so good to do that! P.S. The twin's here (she's in the beige caftan next to the girl in the long blue and white 70's maxi)--- maybe not the best picture but I swear there's a resemblance!

ReplyDeleteOh this could be my Grandma, she always escapes from the retirement home and doesn't know how to get back then. I'm glad we've always found her when she escaped ;) How nice that you and your bf brought her back home, it's sad when old people are so helpless.
ReplyDeleteOh and what I wanted to say is: OMG I LOOOVE THIS DRESS! Seriously, it's so beautiful! I love plaid and the colours are perfect! Wish I had such a lovely plaid dress :)
Happy Thursday!
What a sweet couple you and your boyfriend obviously are, rescuing that poor old lady! Good for you :) And what a beautiful dress this is, it reminds me a little bit of the Stepford Wives, but the way you've worn it with those adorable nautical flats makes it look much more chic and modern. I'm on the hunt for silhouettes like this myself- Asos here I come :)
