Barbie Girl

Really late with today's post, but I was being a good girl studying my ass off for the upcoming exams! Okey, I was also eating chips (wokkels <3) and watching tv, but STILL! It's the effort that counts, right? RIGHT?


Guys I am still in love with my faux bangs or faux fringe, as Wangari called them in the comments. Alliterations make everything better! The hair, the bustier top and the pastel shades totally make me feel like a retro barbie girl, and I'm totally loving it. Love is an understatement. A bit over the top maybe, but it makes me SO GIDDY! 
I spent my day catching up with my lovely lady lum.. uhm I mean friends, checking out boys that were strolling by and catching up on schoolwork in the library. A perfect first day of school after Easter break!

    big big fan of the skirt, the bright colors and the print look so fresh and bright. Perfect skirt for sunny days. And the colors look gorgeous with your brown hair. I am not into bustier because I cannot wear them myself (yes I am too old for that, although sex and the city wants to make me believe something else). I am always so scared that nothing will stay inside… (wow what an interesting thing to know… ). Love the nude shoes because everything is bright enough, nude shoes are the finishing touch because they elongate your legs and the pale nude works so well with the soft bright colors.

    Hoewel ik je durf en zin voor experiment bewonder, vind ik dat je jammer genoeg de bal vaak mis slaat. Het is belangrijk een eigen stijl te ontwikkelen en niet zomaar iedere trend met goedkope en inferieure materialen na te apen, waardoor het geheel soms smaakloos oogt. Een eigen stijl zou je meer klasse geven, waar het nu eerder lijkt op een tiener die volop haar identiteit aan het zoeken is. Een stijlvolle vrouw ben je (nog) niet. Een vlotte durver, die buiten de lijntjes durft kleuren, des te meer, waarvoor mijn appreciatie.
