Blue Skies + RIVER ISLAND STUDENT PARTY




I have a hell of a cold. Quite ironic with the lovely weather, isn't it? The thing I hate about having a cold is having a runny nose. Sniffling all the time, not being able to breathe through your nose and thus spending day and night with a sore throat and a dry mouth, I hate it. Every time I have a clogged up nose, I end up spending my nights restlessly rolling around in my bed because I'm dreaming about my very dry mouth and throat and how I'm trying to find some water to quench that thirst, very frustrating! 

Btw I am a supporter of Japanese etiquette, by which I mean that I prefer sniffling to blowing my nose every five seconds. Sniffling is considered rude by a lot of people, but I just don't see the point in blowing my nose if it makes the skin around my nose irritated. It doesn't even last long enough to make up for the EFFORT of blowing your nose! Haha yes, having a cold makes me even lazier than usual.

What are your stances on sniffling vs blowing?

Every flyer is supposed to be like a lottery ticket, it might win you awesome vouchers during the party, and there will be drinks and dj's and awesome people (including me HAHA) so be there or be square!

    What a sweet outfit! How I wish we had Zara here! And I'm more of a blower than a sniffer, but I try to do it as discreetly and lady-like as possible. Which mostly fails miserably.

    i am totally an obnoxious blower. i sort of have the idea that sniffling and sending things back down your throat will make you sicker. no idea if that's true or not. :S

    im a sniffer, i always end up sneezing when i blow my nose which defeats the purpose. also i cant believe my eyes, this dress hehe i have it but its not from zara its from an australia store, its exactly the same too not even one difference. i must get some stockings like that now so i canwear them with my dress heh :)

    Haha, you are such a character. I don't mind sniffling since I hate my nose getting all sore and irritated from kleenex. No matter how soft they claim the tissue is it always ends up killing my nose! I love your bag in this post, such a gorgeous piece!

    Love your RI picks! Having a cold is always a drag, hope you get better soon! I prefer blowing my nose, but I hate it anyway because my nose gets all red and dry and the skin around my nostrils and above my upper lip gets scraped and I can't wear lipstick because I always wipe it off with my handkerchief and it looks stupid with the red nose anyway. So...thinking about it... I'll probably start sniffling instead :-D

    Apparantly, sniffing is better. But there's one (disgusting) disadvantage: you have to sniff really hard so the snot is totally gone. And most of the time that doesn't make very nice noises...

    I don't sniff because that's bad to get into your system and I gag a lot if that stuff gets in me. so i have to blow it out because I get infections. me and tissues have a pretty good relationship.
