This dress? This silk epitomy of spring? 1 euro. THAT'S RIGHT. I want to marry T2 vintage.

I wore this little getup to go survey some elderly people at the local serviceflats over here in my lil' ole town. I wanted to wear something respectable, spring-appropriate but non-intimidating because old folks are often a bit turned off by people randomly invading their home talking about universities and surveys and the like. Don't get me wrong, I love the elderly, I find them endearing and inspiring and I have a lot of respect for them. They have lived so much more than I have. I always wonder how it can be possible to have so many memories stored in our tiny heads. So yeah, I like old people. But they seem to like me a tiny bit too much, as I spent 2 freaking hours surveying 3 people. That's right. I understand the fact that they like having someone to talk to because old people are often very lonely, but I need to to survey a LOT of people and I don't have enough days before my deadline to spend some quality T.I.M.E. with each and everyone of them! Aaaargh
Anyway, the weather is amazingly beautiful (we're expecting 11°Celsius tomorrow) so I'm not complaining, I'm just a bit overworked.

PS: I'm totally loving my Catrice Sweets for my Sweet nailpolish, it makes my nails look totally fake and trashy.

    Some old people are a lil bit stuffy. I think that the people intervewed by u thought u lovely and cute. Your dress is sooooo nice. Your nail polish are sweet.

    Yay, for those grannies, you must have made their day! Such a lovely look :) The elderly are generaly very nice, and I totally understand how lonely some of them must feel. When I go to my grandpa's to fix something ("Andrea, come here! How do I send a photo by e-mail? What do I click?" :)), I usually spend two hours there as well. And we live in the same house! :)

    That dress was a bargain--it makes me want to come to Belgium to stock up on my spring wardrobe! And you look especially beautiful in that close-up.

    Old folk's home kind of depress me; I guess since both my grandmothers deteriorated and ended up in some. And since they were so intelligent and strong before, it was sad. But anyway, I'm sure you were a gust of fresh air in there and they loved you!

    Duh, old people love adorable ladies in floral dresses! I could have told you that. I used to get TONS of attention from old people when I wore my blue suede wedges, too. We'll have good taste when we're older too, I hope!

    Great bargain. You're so lucky that you have such a great vintage shop in your town. We have just a second hand shop here which is to expensive for second hand stuff I think. The cheapest thing I bought was a blue cardi for 5€.

    That's an awesome bargain!!! gosh I'm going to miss T2 sooo much! I'm southern Spain now, so... hola! :P almost my final destination, as I'm in the lovely town of Cordoba, but will be moving to Malaga hopefully soon.
    quite warmish here, 20 degrees at midday and that dress would look soooo nice here in the sun (as I see by the lovely bright pictures) so yes, I want your dress, again, one of those times :P

    Mooi kleedje en ik vind je 'ombre' haar ook heel leuk! Ja zo'n inspiratie boek vraagt inderdaad wat tijd wat ik ook niet altijd heb, de plaatjes stapelen zich meestal gewoon op en als ik nog wat tijd vind 'plakken maar'! :)

    T2 is geweldig. Gisteren nog langs alle winkels in Antwerpen geweest, helaas is het nog eventjes wachten op echte koopjes.

    Je schattige accessoire in de laatste foto lijkt op een afgeslankte versie van de kater die hier thuis rondloopt... :)
