I bought this cute little cardigan a while back, 50% off at H&M. You guys probably know I love a good cardigan, so a vibrant red, printed cardigan? Irresistible. Another very typically "me" outfit with the midi skirt, the navy-red combo and my heart shaped glasses to top it off, but what can I say: this is my style! I actually really like the fact that the older I get, the more I know what I love and what I want to look like. This probably means there will be less variation in what I wear, but that's reality for ya. Right now I am into classics, slightly retro ensembles, modesty and innocent elegance. And midi skirts. Doesn't sound boring to me.


MOVIE RECOMMENDATION OF THE DAY: THERE WILL BE BLOOD

Visually stunning, haunting score, psychologically involving. I liked this movie, and it mesmerized me: Daniel Day-Lewis is one of the most charismatic actors that ever lived. But I couldn't shake the feeling that this movie was trying very hard to be deep and meaningful, while the actual motives behind the actions of the characters seemed almost random. Still, a recommendation because of Day-Lewis' acting and the cinematography, but the story and the characters could've been better.

    I love D.Day-Lewis... I was actually thinking of watching Gangs of New York tonight because of him. I saw a girl wearing the same cardi today with navy slacks... it looks better on you :-)

    I think I may have fallen asleep in that movie, not because it wasn't any good but because that's generally what I do lol, my eyes don't let me stay awake half the time. When I saw this look I instantly though oh how fun and retro, your cardigan reminds me of my nan's old chairs, but in a very good way. love it xo

    I love the Lolita glasses!! You definitely rock them like no other. And I think that those bright colors in your cardi are definitely your colors (and that goes for the red of the lolita shades, too!)

    That nailpolish I'm sooo excited about- it's the new Revlon "Top Speed" collection, and they came out with all these really awesome shades. The one I was wearing was called "Cloud". I loved it so much that I got the soft peach color called "Peachy." They're so pretty and spring-like! Btw, I love your polish, too- yellow nail polish always makes me happy.. :D

    you look so fabulous in red and blue. and you manage to look so different every time, although you are very consistent to your style. the cardigan is absolutely adorable, the little red flowers look adorable. the skirt, i love it because of the cut. the clogs are the finishing touch

    Die cardigan past echt PERFECT bij jou! Zo schattig :-) En origineel gecombineerd met die halflange rok; met een kort rokje zou je meteen een ander gevoel krijgen maar dit is verrrrry 50's! Mooi!

    I think it's really good to know your style inside out. I always feel like I'm a bit schizophrenic and have been trying to narrow things down lately. But I think getting older isn't helping me much, since my previous default style was little girl dresses and yeah... getting a bit long in the tooth for those....

    Ooh, what a cute print! My favourite part though is your nails, I feel inspired to go and dig out some brightly coloured polishes to cheer in the new season!

    D-D Lewis is great, I watched 'Age of Innocence' the other day, which is very serious and melodramatic, but made very good by DDL's amazingly talented eyebrows :).
