Hey guys! I had a good night of sleep (and lots of cuddles with my boyfriend - I always love that feeling of new "in love"-ness when a fight gets cleared up) so I'm totally back full force yo. I'm watching Jamie Oliver taking on the US and the unhealthy eating habits over there on ma tv. It always boggles my mind how a lot of people in the US almost exclusively eat processed foods like buckets of chicken wings and pizzas and mashed potatoes from a package and so on and so forth. I would DIE if I had to eat unhealthy food all the time, I'm a firm believer of the idea "you are what you eat". I feel so much better if I spend some time cooking a real tasty dish with different flavors and colors. I love being able to taste the natural components of a dish. Processed foods all taste exactly the same: salty, sweet, starchy. They totally kill your tastebuds.
So eat healthily and cook your own food, people!
Anyway: the e-flyers of our upcoming River Island Antwerp Student Party are ready, here it is!
Entrance is students only, don't forget to bring your student ID card and print out one of these flyers! Fill it in and you might win a gift voucher! I personally can't wait, I'm sure this is going to be such an awesome event with cool people, cool music and 20% off the entire collection! I've been checking the site to keep track of all the lovely things I might consider buying that night. Internetwindowshopping ftw.

This dress is my favorite of yours, it's so beautiful. I can't understand when people eat shit like that either, I refuuuse to eat majority of processed foods. I indulge every now and then, but homemade treats usually.
ReplyDeleteI featured you in my sunday inspiration post!!

Oooh, I love the cardigan, the blue shoes, and the pink skirt!!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, I was watching that Jamie Oliver show and it grosses me out so much!! There's a ton of that where I live too. I can't imagine not cooking my own food :S It's a great thing he's trying to do, hopefully it helps with the problem!
You look fantastic, as usual ;)

Ooh i love this dress on you!! gorgeous :)
ReplyDeleteWow, they do actually have nice stuff! I used to really like River Island, then I didn't, then I did again and now I might have to buy those yellow shoes!
ReplyDeleteI'm with you on the eating healthily thing. Or at least eating normally, and stuffing the odd vegetable down your trap. ; D
Such a beautiful print, especially on you! Please get all of those pieces so I can oogle over them when you wear them :)
ReplyDeleteThat dress is so lovely - and I know what you mean about processed foods, they really do kill the actual tastes of things.

I love your dress! I finally got to visit river island when I was in Ireland last week and now wish I lived in Europe!
ReplyDeleteLa Petite Marmoset
Love the outfit. Are the nylons stockings or tights ? I've tried the H&M hold ups with mixed success.
ReplyDeleteooo, i love your shoes! and that dress is sooo one of a kind, and it looks great on you (: umm, the white/daisy t-shirt is calling my name...
ReplyDeleteoh i wish australia had a river island :(. and amen to the food comments, it sickens me when i see people eating crap all the time, fair enough im not super healthy but i prefer a home cooked meal to a maccas or fried chicken any day and you're right the flavours are so much better, i love cooking! you are rocking that dress perfectly again too lovely
ReplyDeleteAgain a gorgeous dress. Love the combination of the colors, the black and orange looks so perfect (and it does not remind me of Halloween). They always seem to fit you perfectly: the waist is at the right place, it has the most perfect length. I love the combination with that adorable cardigan. I would love to see you in that hat and the adorable blue shoes
ReplyDeleteI also think that you are what you eat but maybe I'm an exception. I eat vegetables and fruits every day and almost no white flour, no sugar and I'm going to be an almost-vegan. But still I am a fat chick. Strange thing isn't it.
ReplyDeleteyou look FAB!
