Redhead

Because of family issues (you probably know what I'm referring to but I don't feel like talking about it right now), I didn't have a chance to post last night. Sorry I kept you waiting, with the reveal of my new hair and all.

So I just went and got my hair did! Well actually my boyfriend was feeling in the mood to play hairdresser for god knows what reason, so I obliged him and let him dye my hair red, haha. Love you, sweets!

OMG I LOOK JUST LIKE ARIEL, and I'm not talking about the Israelian politician! Hold your horses, my hair isn't this bright red all over, although I sort of wish it was. It looks really flattering on me, which I didn't expect. I do need to get used to the idea of me as a redhead though, having been a brunette for all of my life. You have this image in your head of who you are and what you look like, and big changes are confusing! But if and when I get used to it, I think I'm going to get highlights all over and then dye my hair red again, to get even more punch in my color. 

Anyway, this is the real result!

Apparently, I have streaks in my hair that took the dye better than other parts. Lovely!

And this is what it really looks like! Almost like a real redhead, no? I love the orange glow on my darker roots and lenghts, warm and fun. I feel like I already look entirely different with my hair this color, less "cute and sweet" and more "fun". So, what do you like the best? Red, pink, green, blue, raspberry, uncolored ombre or just my own, allover dark brown hair? I'm telling you, if you ever feel like trying out a new color, this ombre thing is your friend. Very low commitment but high pay-off! And so great for experimenting. DO IT
