Today's post instantly reminded me of the lovely Islabell of A Fine Day For Sailing with her easy, feminine retro vibe. Neutral colors, a tanktop, a midi skirt, some espadrilles and cute accessories et voila! She always reminds me of a seventies surfer chick, but the way she keeps her retro touches absolutely simple and low key takes her look from potentially frumpy to effortless class in an almost Alexa Chung kinda way. Don't get me wrong, their styles aren't that much alike, but they both have that casual cool that is so irresistible to me. So yes, I have a huge crush on Islabell and I'm pretty sure you will too after seeing her blog. But first, my outfit!
My poor cat has a swollen paw, probably stung by a bee or something, because it ALWAYS catches insects with its little kitten mittens. But that's another story! Back to Islabell! Let me show you why I love her.
cute sailboat tattoo and a love for clogs we share
the fact that she permanently looks, well, as if she's just had the best sex ever with her messy hair and bedroom eyes
seriously!
her ferragamo flats
hottest, longest legs in the blogosphere
aaaaaaaaah so sexy!
What did I tell ya? Effortless beauty. And so very wearable, which means: utterly inspiring.
I'm in love, how 'bout you? Go check her out! And tell her I would totally make a pass at her if I was into girls.
top: VERY old, like from when I was 14.
skirt: T2 (got it last week)
espadrilles: New Look
bag: Zara
hat: H&M
glasses: Claire's
PS: PLEASE vote for my collage here and help me win a 100 euro River Island gift voucher!!!
PPS: the way I spend my free time: wearing heart sunnies, straw accessories and reading Henning Mankell.
Outta the park, as usual, miss thang. I love Isabel too!
