Toggle Coat and Sushi

God I should really stop buying wintercoats, they take up so much space! But winter is too long in Belgium to wear the same coat day in day out, so I like being able to change it up a bit. And when you come across a perfect fitting Finnish toggle coat with a plaid lining, and it only costs 12 euros during the sale of your favorite vintage store... Well you just can't say no, can you?

The hood and toggle closure are everything I am craving in coats this winter, and perfect for rainy days on campus.

coat, dress: T2 vintage
belt: boyfriend's
tights: H&M
boots: ASOS
ring: Alex Monroe
backpack: River Island

My guy had some meetings that kept lagging on so when he finally got off from work and came to get me from the library it was too late to cook up dinner, so we went out to eat sushi before returning home. Yum!

  1. I would definitely not be able to say no to that either, even though I plenty of black coats, that's just too perfect and too cheap not to get! I also really like how you combined it with the floral dress, it looks great and you actually seem like you're Scandinavian in this outfit!
Drooling over the food too, now I need to go eat something...

  13. Mmm, now I want sushi! I do think I'd like to purchase a winter coat here in Europe, but they can be so bulky! But I do think I'll be buying another suitcase for my return flight anyway.

Speaking of Europe... mind if I ask you a few questions about Belgium - as in what to do, what to see, etc.? I think I might plan a trip across the channel :)

  14. I have way too many winter coats too! Except I have no excuse because it's only cold enough for a winter coat here for about 3 weeks. Oh well!
