Now, these aren't ACTUALLY my boyfriend's trousers. I have a boyish figure and he is the muscular type, so his pants would fall right down my butt. However, after looking for some grandpa-esque cord trousers for a few weeks and not finding what I was looking for, I finally found these at River Island's men's department. I bought these during their Student Night with a gift voucher I had lying around so yeay!
I'm contemplating slightly taking the legs in a bit but I like them the way they are right now as well. Thoughts? More tapered or more like proper retro British old geezer in the country? I need some rubber wellies to go with this look.
ALSO: loads of foodporn up ahead!
sweater: F21
lace top, socks: H&M
trousers: River Island
shoes: traded with friend
bag: Zara
And now, the aforementioned foodporn! First up, a local delicacy. These are called "kuskes" or kisses and I would describe them as a slightly more chewy, rough version of macarons, filled with almond cream. Very nom but very rich.
Next up: there is nothing I enjoy more on a cold Sunday afternoon than cooking some proper comfortfood. Making lasagne is easy as heck and always makes me feel so accomplished! I made a huge batch so we ate lasagne for 3 days straight, but I didn't mind.
Wow! That outfit is really beautiful! Love the pants!
ReplyDeleteMy word. Your blog is so excellent! I love this. Corduroy (besides wool) MAKES MY DAY every time! Perfect with the socks and adorable shoes and structured handbag, but the cozy sweater and ombred hair make it kind of feminine and deliciously fall. I can kind of see them tapered... but either way works with your figure! You are lucky to be long and lean!

First, the trousers are great!!! And you look amazing with them. Don't take the length because the folds make them better and cuter. I saw that jumper at F21, it's really nice! Anyway, once again you look amazing, I have to say that this month your killing it even more!
