Ola lovers! Last Sunday my boyfriend took me out to dinner in my favorite all-you-can-eat sushibar in Antwerp (if you want to go: it's right near the UGC in the Keysercenter) as an early birthday celebration, and of course I had to take pics of the food and my get-up! So sit back and enjoy the load of foodporn.
I could eat Japanese food EVERY.SINGLE.DAY.
After dinner, we went to Antwerp's new architectural wonder slash pile of tetris blocks, the Mas.
We wanted to check out the view from the top floor, but OBVIOUSLY there was some sort of fancy party going on there so we weren't allowed to go up. Great. Anyway, here's a view from slightly lower in the building.
We'll go back one of these days, so DON'T THROW ANY PARTIES ANYMORE UNTIL I'VE BEEN THERE OKEY?
You look beautiful! I love your dress!!

oh yum, i love sushi, great food porn. i like your shoes too hun
ReplyDeleteDamn I love Gyoza... mmmm.
ReplyDeleteLike you said, I love simple dress outfits, and don't think it's necessary to load them down with lots of belts and necklaces and stuff. In summer, fashion is about having made the right choice in the shop!
Also, I tried that hairstyle and apparently I'm incapable of French braiding with my head between my knees... barely capable of French braiding at all. And you made it sound so easy.... ; D
The print on that dress is amazing. I love checking out your blog on a daily basis to see what you have come up with style-wise. You do such a great job: fun, fresh, classy, experimental, fashion-forward.
ReplyDeleteI love sushi! It's pretty much my favorite food :) And I adore your sandals!

Thank you so much!! This dress is awesome! jealous! I'm actually about to put a bunch of stuff on an online shop as we're moving and don't have room for everything. I'll let you know!
ReplyDeletei have seen it before and i am still in love with that amazing print! the print looks so phenomenal because of the black. the colors are insane!!! again, it fits you perfectly (you should work for big names because you have the most ideal body ever). i love that little adorable belt, the finishing touch and the nude shoes. yes it is all about the dress. Oh and i could never wear a high neckline like that!!! not for my size ;;;)))
ReplyDeleteOh, you've always got such great 50s inspired dresses - suffering from serious clothes envy... I must go get myself one or two (or three...) - any tips where to find some?
ReplyDeleteI love that dress on you, and merry happy birthday my dear! Wish you all the luck of the world, success, joy and hapiness. ;-)
ReplyDeletePrachtig kleedje!
ReplyDeleteEn die sushi, nomnomnom ;)
Oh damn I want to try everything of this!
ReplyDeleteAnd I love the 7th pic of you ;-) verrrrry pretty!
Oh lekker, sushi!! Ik ben daar nog nooit gaan eten, ik vind het concept precies nogal verwarrend... Ik zal het eens gaan moeten uitpluizen! Mooi kleedje trouwens!
ReplyDeleteWow, thank you so much for your quick answer!! I'll go have a look at once! btw: thumbs up for your milkmaid braid hairstyle!
ReplyDeleteGreat dress. It is adorable and I love the open back.
ReplyDeleteLovely my dear! That dress is just so dreamy. And I could also eat sushi EVERYDAY. I dream about sushi. I think I may have to have it for dinner tonight after seeing these pictures :-) xx

ReplyDeleteThe dress looks absolutely stunning on you! I still love your hair :) and the food looks bloody delicious!
ReplyDeletepretty dress
ReplyDeleteMooie jurk, wauw! X
ReplyDeleteDamn, is that agedashi or tempura CUCUMBER? I'm quite fond of agedashi and tempura, and I can never turn down cucumber... that just seems like the best combination ever.
ReplyDeleteAh, this makes me want to ask my mom to make us some sushi. Regardless of how many times I try, she's just better at making it!
xox
oooh la la I'm craving sushi! You look beeee-utiful! I adore that dress, the print is spectacular, and your hair and lipstick just make everything wondrous ;)

YUM, sadly I haven't had sushi in over 2 months!! I adore the print and back cutout of your dress, it looks like an updated version of a '50s dress I own.
ReplyDeleteMmm tempura shrimp. I like japanese food, but I've yet to find a place that serves good stuff without it being hoity toity and expensive.
ReplyDeleteWow, that dress is awesome. I wish there were River Island here in the states. And hooooly shit that building is so cool! Too bad they wouldn't let you up to the top floor :(
ReplyDeleteMy friend Laura and I are both vegetarian, and we discovered this sushi place near Stanford that serves 1.65 6 piece veggie rolls. As a result, we've gotten like 4 rolls each several times in the past week. Soooo yummy and such a good deal!
I love love love that dress! <3
