Guys, prepare yourselves for the AWESOMENESS that is my new camera. Yesterday's pics didn't show it yet, but I'm really loving today's shots and I imagine things are only going to get better as I learn how to use my DSLR properly!
I.AM.IN.LOVE. These look so retro! Also, when I set it to timer it shoots like 6 or 7 pictures in a row which allows me to do awesome dynamic poses and pick the one I like best! Expect to see even MORE jumping/twirling shots from now on :-)
As you can see I've concocted a new hairstyle again. I wore my lovely flower headwreath and pinned my hair up to cover the ribbon on the back of my head. My boyfriend thought I looked like a kid on her way to her confirmation but I think it looks more weddingy than childlike. He just doesn't WANT to see it. I loved how it went with my simple little summerdress and of course my lovely floral brogues! The weather has been incredibly hot and sweaty lately, so dressing kinda nekkid was a must. To cool down, we went out to have ice cream at this fancy ice cream parlor in Sint Niklaas, Cremerie François! Totally recommend it if you're in the neighborhood :-)
My nails look a bit crazy but I like 'em anyway. This is what I do with my time when I SHOULD be studying: putting 10 different colors on my nails.
I had my second exam today and it was hella easy. I finished asap because the monthly T2 sales are upon us again, and I had invited my mom and sis over to check it out since they had never been there before. Yes, you heard right, SOMEHOW they live only half an hour of driving away from Antwerp, and STILL they haven't been to my DREAMSHOP! They are clearly crazy in the coconut. Anyway, they came over and they obviously agreed that they were insane for having missed out on the BRILLIANCE that is T2 until now. My sis bought like 12 skirts, blouses and dresses (can't wait to see pictures of each and every single piece because they looked so prrrrrty), my mom bought about 9 and I bought 13. Everything was 2 euro a piece. Seriously I cannot get over how awesome that store is. Also, stuff just FITS better than your average H&M shiz. Lord knows how much I adore H&M, but their fit is usually off and completely unflattering on anyone with any shape whatsoever. My sis is a gorgeous hourglass with ample boobage, and the dresses she bought all fit her like a dream: SO happy for her! She bought this one PERFECT Mad Men Peggy Olson esque dress that I am madly in love with and I am so sad I'm too small to wear it :( Anyway, I'm over the moon with the stuff I bought. I got two vintage swimsuits that I'm DYING to show you guys, one even has CONICAL BOOBS SRSLY I DIE. I also stocked up on blouses to cut the sleeves off since I've been HANKERING for sleeveless blouses but they are all ugly or expensive in regular stores.
All in all: a fiiiine day!
