Conical Boobs

I am so in love with my new vintage bikini with conical boobage, I decided to wear (t)it (hahaha lord I'm so lame) as a bra with my lovely plaid picnic dress to REALLY get that Betty Draper feel. I wish they still sold conical bras in normal shops, it looks awesome. Makes me feel like a retro superhero babe!

RIGHT?? I want to wear retro underwear ALL the time, including garters and corsets and petticoats and ALL that jazz. Okay maybe not all the time because that shit is uncomfortable, but it looks so COOL!

Now all I need is that perfectly coiffed hair.

If anyone knows how to get my hair looking like that in about 5-10 minutes: please share the knowledge! Wishful thinking, ah :(

dress: T2 vintage
flats: River Island
sunglasses: Claire's
ring: Alex Monroe

  3. Pretty skirt and your boobs look erm...pointy! Really the best compliment a girl can get on her conical bras ;D The look's totally you and keep working on Betty's Grace Kelly do, though I think it is not humanly possible to get hair to fall and especially stay that way! x

  6. YES! This is probably one of my favorite outfits of yours. The picnic dress with the red accents is so summer perfect. And the heart glasses are so sweet with the whole look. I want a coned shape bra/bathing suit top now! xx

  7. Mmm your hair would look great like that. I have faith. I'm sure you can do it that way if you set your mind to it. ;) No tips, because I'm horrible at hair...

Conical boobage is either hit or miss. I don't like Madonna's. I like yours. So we're in the clear!

  10. okay, i must say, bright colors are still my favorites, it is like you are glowing and sparkling! the dress is so simple and so perfect for you! it is you. love the combination of the yellow and the red, so sophisticated and still so fun. and yes the boobs are so typical retro, always wondered how does bra's make you feel!

  11. This is sooo cool. And fun! And pretty! I love the dress by itself, but the conical bra just gives it that extra...oomph...yeah, I couldn't help myself. Conical bras remind me of this episode of Mystery Science Theater 3000 when a woman in a conical bra is lying on a table and as the camera pans along her body, Joel or Mike or one of the 'bots says, "I wanna go to Egypt..."

  13. Well... My extensions look like that when I curl them with a straightener :p I think it's their texture or something.

I love how the bra looks on you... but I'm not into the pointy thing :D You are rocking that dress though and I love the shoes with this!! Very chic outfit!!

  16. hehe, I'm not quite sure why but this posts' topic has led me to the thought of Swiss Army Bras... useful and chic, no?

I love the outfit though, you look so cute and pretty! Have you tried curling your hair with a flatiron? YouTube showed me how awesome straight irons are as stylers :)

  25. I love the conical swimsuit top under that adorably retro dress! I wish I had some cool vintage inspired underwear to dress up in. My boyfriend isn't into that, sadly, and would make fun of me I'm sure. But I love how this looks so much!

  26. I think it's cute with that dress, but generally I think it was a ridiculous era in underwear! ; ) I was watching Sabrina the other day, and at one point she (and Audrey Hepburn has no boobs anyway) was wearing a conical bra with a black sweater. Looked completely absurd. But anyway, they do fill out the 50s sundresses nicely, as designed. : )

  27. Hoe slaag je er toch altijd in om zo'n superleuke jurkjes te vinden bij T2? Ik vind er ook leuke dingen, daar niet van, maar nooit van die leuke jurken of rokken. :-( Anyway, you look great! Wishful thinking kan geen kwaad maar ik vrees dat 5 à 10 minuten niet haalbaar is voor zo'n kapsel. :-)

  29. I am so in love with your dress, and now with those lovely red t-bars and heart shaped sunnies you look even more amazing! Very Betty Draper indeed.

Although I don't think I would like to wear underwear from that era since I like mine to be as more comfortable as possible.

PS: I thin you could do that hairstyle very quickly with a curling iron since your hair is straight it would be easier.

  32. I love that dress! There's a really great vintage shop in a small town outside the city that sells a lot of vintage underthings. Sadly, the only time I was there, I had barely any money and couldn't buy any, poo :(

  33. haha totally red that as "chronical" at first! Love you look, that dress is adorable & I love the red pairing, way to set out of the box and go with a bright contrast for a bright dress!
oh & say no to uncomfortable corsets!! : )
For the hair- I wouldn't know, but my mom says rollers are the quickest, easiest thing.

  34. Haha :) leuke foto's! Je krijgt precies altijd zo'n soort vintage effect, is dat door die camera of bewerking achteraf?

  40. Very amazing dress. All you would need to do is curl your hair and not brush it out but put your fingers in it to mold the curls. I would recommend using rollers though to be placed on your head to get the type of curls she has.
