I feel like I'm pretty much unable to resist any cute dress with bell sleeves, and the only reason my closet isn't overflowing with this silhouette is because it is surprisingly hard to find. I've always been a fan of the 60s/70s look, which I guess makes sense if you know that I grew up as the child of two die-hard hippies. Or maybe it's just that bell bottoms and peasant tops were having a moment during my formative years in the early 00s, but either way: this is a style I will always be drawn to. Buying this dress in the winter sales was obviously a no-brainer from the moment I double checked that tag to make sure it wasn't polyester. Mango just keeps hitting it out of the park if you ask me.
I just came home from having dinner (falafel at Chickpea Antwerp) + attending a store opening (Sienna & Faye) with my sis, and we spent our trainride back singing along to the Hamilton musical and trying to figure out whether we identify more with Burr or with Hamilton, so basically tonight was a good night. Hope yours was too!
