coat, tights, skater skirt: H&M - turtle neck: Mango - patent brogues: c/o Softwaves - earrings: Sheinside - beret: old
Let's go back to an old favourite look of mine, shall we? The preppy schoolgirl look, to be precise. Very Blair Waldorf, and very fun for the holidays. You wouldn't jump to associate an almost all-black outfit with Christmas, but the red tights and lipstick + the white beret and the green earrings make this Christmassy without looking like a costume. Btw, these Softwaves brogues I received are pretty much the best present ever because they are fly AF and suuuuuper comfortable. The soles are super bouncy and they didn't even need any breaking in - I bet I could wear these without socks and not even get blisters within ten minutes, which has been always impossible for me. Ringing endorsement right there!
I also created a cute, Christmas inspired make up look to go with the outfit.
I'm wearing Limit of the Naked 3 palette blended through the crease, Shiro cosmetics You Know Nothing (Jon Snow) all over the lid, H&M's loose glitter in Break the Ice dabbed on the eyelid and on the inner eye corner, completed with a good helping of eyeliner. On the lips, I'm wearing Gwen Stefani x Urban Decay 714, perfect matte bright red!
Hope you like my take on dressing for Christmas :-)
