My boyfriend's birthday was the first day of nice weather in weeks, so we grabbed the opportunity to take out our crappy old second hand bicycles and peddle around our town, enjoying the sun and the scenery. My town isn't exactly the PRETTIEST around, but there was some water, sun and flowers and lots of green so I made my boyfriend snap some cheesy pics of me to share with y'all. Hope you enjoy! And in case you hate the Belgian countryside: stay tuned because there is some birthday cake to be ogled at the end of this post.
CUE MAJOR CHEESE
top, sneakers, sunnies: H&M
skirt: T2 vintage
ring: Alex Monroe
Don't worry, I didn't forget the cake! SO FLUFFY
PS I actually HATE cycling, I have the least fat on my butcheeks as humanly possible so I always get a really sore butt after like 5 minutes. My butt still hurts :(
MMMMM cake!
ReplyDeleteZo'n leuke post, best verfrissend die change of scenery! Wens je vriend nog een gelukkige verjaardag.

As for the Belgian countryside- I love it! Makes me miss my ex boyfriend (who happens to come from the country you reside in) and our rides to Holland from Knokke on his grandparents bikes... Ohh... I only wish I had your skirt at the time. It complements the 'picture' ;)

Hello, your town looks just darling! Pretty country roads and rivers and bridges. It seems just lovely for a bike ride. I'm not much good on a bike, especially in a busy city with cars and trucks zooming every which way. Anyway, happy birthday to your man. :D
ReplyDeleteXOXO
that is actually a super adorable bike! & it's like a good contrast accessory to your colorful skirt hahaha. just wanted to say the most ditzy comment ever. but really, your town is so pretty, I love open, grassy countrysides and it's so green there! Hope your man had a great day, so cute to finally see a pic of you two together! As for biking, I'd recommend investing in a comfy, old lady bike seat with lots of cushion or even a seat pad to put on the current seat. a better seat really makes for such a more pleasant ride!
ReplyDeleteyour writing is so funny love it! and nice pics

ReplyDeleteHahaha I have a huge butt and I still get sore from biking...I think you have to work your way up to it!

Love the Belgian countryside, pretty flat mostly, but full of amazing vegetation, and the bluebells in Spring are simply amazing, and the berries everywhere, truly miss it, too dry and arid here in Spain xxx
