Straw Bag

How d'ya like my Ke$ha face?

As you can see I found a straw bag! They sold these at the store I always work at during summer break, so I got it at store discount for just 13 euro. SCORE! I love how the rope handles are adjustable. When there's little inside I like it slung over my shoulder, but when I'm heavy loaded I prefer to carry it in my elbow like those girls with tiny puppies in their purses. I feel like I totally subconsciously succumbed to this new straw bag trend. I've been wanting one for a few weeks and since then I've been seeing them pop up everywhere. Does this mean I can't resist trends and have been seduced into wanting one, or is there some subtle undercurrent in our world that simultaneously creates this need in me, and the trend in society? FASCINATING

I've had these shoes since I was 18 which is now almost six years ago. Dayum I'm getting old. Anyway, I couldn't resist their cute bows, comfy fit, sensual shape and funky/retro leopard print back when I bought them and I still love them to death. They were natural tan leopardprint initially, but I rubbed in some dark blue shoepolish and ended up with this purply color which perfectly matched the leather trimmings. Love em even more now! Lesson: don't be afraid to do weird things with your clothes. Ok, maybe that is a sucky lesson.

  15. Such a gorgeous floral dress! Also kinda reminds me of something that is '50's inspired. I think you totally rock that era- seriously! But what I love the best is that you chose to wear this with purple shoes- what a cute twist instead of just the regular colors of black or brown. Mmm and those Italian finger foods look heavenly....(even though I just ate dinner LoL!)

I am totally going to have to figure out a good way to get a tutorial going.. I'm working it out in my brain... it would be a fun thing to feature!

    2) I'm fascinated by your shoe-alteration technique: how did you evenly apply the nailpolish?

  28. I just wrote out the longest comment on here and it didn't save. BOO! Anyway, I was saying that I think you seem like the sweetest girl to hang out with and have I told you that? It seems like you would be right into having adventures, listening to records, and drinking beer!

This summer outfit is ultimate! Floral dress and wicker purse - amazing! I need to bring out the heart-shaped glasses this summer. You have inspired me. You look so lovely in this dress shape, as well.

I wore my faux-fur coat out last night and was not warm! It is hovering around ten degrees centigrade here in the day time.
