I loooooove this dress I found on etsy for just 7 euros a while ago. Sometimes when shopping secondhand you just cannot believe your luck, this dress is a perfect dream. Cotton, vibrant floral, midi length and SLEEVES! You might not know this but I crush on sleeves almost as hard as on collars. A dress just looks so much more expensive with sleeves instead of sucky spaghetti straps or the like. And of course I reached for my beloved green clogs again. Seriously these go with everything and I mean EVERYTHING. I wish I had bought them in two colors! The orange ones were super lovely too.
I'm watching eurovision as we speak. Lots of crappy songs but a few cute ones. I thought Switzerland, Finland and Iceland were kinda OK but I didn't care for the other songs. Oh well, usually the first semi finals suck and I know I'll be watching again Thursday! Guilty pleasure :)
Today's foodporn is vegetarian! Falafel, one of my oldest loves.
ommmmm nomnomnomnomnom
Too bad I'm too scared to make this from scratch, fresh falafel is amazing but so hard to get right! I remember my parents struggling to get the amounts right, the balls can't be too wet or too dry. I thank my parents for introducing me to all kinds of exotic foods when I was a wee kid, they were total granola hippies which probably explains a lot.
dress: Calico Vintage on Etsy
clogs, bag: H&M
belt: River Island
lipstick: 2B cosmetics @ Kruidvat

Echt mooi kleedje!
Go go go! :-)

Love the vibrant floral dress, it's hard to find vintage cotton dresses for a low price. Yum on the falafel too, I'm digging the 'daily food porn' you've been posting (I used to be a food writer). Can't wait to eat cheap falafel sandwiches in my favorite park in the sunshine this summer.

ReplyDeleteI love falafel too! As a vegetarian, it's something I can always rely on when I want good food in a hurry. Yay for parents who expose their kids to awesome food!
I want that falafel right now!
ReplyDeletewhat a title, i had no idea what to expect. and yes, know i understand the title. i thought you would look like a falafel. but you don't, you look fruity not meaty. love love the little flowers and the gorgeous colors of the flowers. the dress fits you perfectly, again. is there any sort of fit/shape that doesn't fit you. i cannot believe it, everything you put on is like made for you.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely love the dress. And so agree with you on the sleeve thing.
