Here comes number two! No, I'm not talking about doodoo (haha such a stupid word), I'm just referring to the second of my crayon bright vintage dresses I picked up at T2 vintage. I wore number one yesterday, and it's only natural that number two would come second. Yeah I know I only call this one number two because I'm posting it after number one but let's not get caught up in technicalities. Anyway, I love this one because of the bright pink, the soft, flowy cotton, the full skirt (can't wait to find a proper crinoline to wear with this) and the neckline. I love how this dress can be easily dressed up or down by simply changing the accessories. I went with my new wallet (before, I used a tiny leather wallet with the Misfits Fiend printed on it, got it for my 18th birthday and still love it to death) that doubles as a clutch, a polkadot printed belt that came with another vintage dress, some pale pink wedges that elongate my legs and pink lipstick. The combination makes for an elegant look that is suitable for day to night wear! It was ridiculously windy, but I always love days like these for picture taking. Brings life to my dresses. I always love how pink looks on me, I don't understand the rational explanation but somehow it looks really good against my skintone and haircolor.
I don't know how it happened, but my nighttime activities with the boy resulted in a natural, subtle sixties bump without teasing my hair! I should try this more often.

dress: T2 vintage
belt: came with dress from T2
wedges: Sac D'Anvers
clutch: River Island
nailpolish: Model's Own @ River Island
ring: Alex Monroe
Time for some food! Not as photogenic as some of my other conconctions, but it tasted DEELISH so I had to share.
Ingredients: canned tuna, cherry tomatoes, cappellini (thin spaghetti), rocket, roasted pine nuts, parsley, green olives
Dressing: 1 tbsp mustard, 1 tbsp lemon zest, 2 tbsp olive oil, some lemon juice (I used about half a lemon), black pepper, a crushec clove of garlic and a bit of white wine vinegar.
Easy peasy and superyum! I love how the dressing really brings out the sea flavor of the tuna, especially since canned tuna usually doesn't really taste that fishy anymore :-D
Wow, another hit! I so wish I could go to this store after seeing this beauty!
ReplyDeleteHaha, those nighttime activities! Nothing like the old in-out to get that fab 'do... I know that expression is like extremely gross, but I am only using it because one of your tees told me you're a great Clockwork fan :D So apologies for the obscenity, my droog ;) x
