Last Christmas I Gave You My Heart

This cardigan and me are having such a love affair. It's just perfect in practically every way: warm, red, kitschy, festive and cute. I love it with my miu miu inspired ASOS birdpin, and I love it with my Sex Pistols t-shirt. I was doing my crazy printmix thing again as you can see, but the prints totally matched in my head. I actually put on a faux fur leopard coat with this entire shebangalicious outfit to add to the crazy. I feel like my bottom half is inspired by Blair Waldorf while my top is a punk kid who got brushed up a bit by her mom because they are visiting the grandparents for christmas.  But it works, right? I sure felt nice wearing this look. The cold is back again over here, we're expecting snow this night, so my faux leopard was basically a must. I'm enjoying it though, I like things to be the way they are: summers should be hot and winters should be cold.
I'm super excited for that press event thing I have wednesday night at River Island. I can't wait to be all professional blogger and stuff. Oh who am I kidding, I'm just hoping there will be snacks. I love snacks! Maybe we'll get goodies! THIS IS EXCITING!

But seriously, I'm especially excited because this feels like the very first "professional" or "official" thing I'll be doing as a fashion journalist, apart from my articles for EIU of course. I'm still just a university student slash fashion blogger, but I'm aiming for a fashion journalist job in the end so this is just awesome. More experience is always better! Anyway, thanks to all my new fans/followers/commenters/favoriters (haha). You all rock!!

  12. Way to keep it real, girl <3 The snacks are undoubtedly where it's at. Although if I were all concerned about appearing professional, I'm sure I'd get all anxious about eating them with the gusto I might otherwise.

I think that sex pistols shirt is pure magic under that cardigan. You have me wanting to bust out one of my vintage tees from high school...

I admire your eclecticism and confidence, by the way. You always look so freaking cool and unique and unexpected.

And I'm sure you'll get a great fashion journalism job. You really deserve it!
