These earrings make me feel like one of those cliché latina secretary types you know from the movies (ah, cultural insensitivity!): big earrings, big hair, tight jeans, long nails and immaculate make up. You probably don't know this about me, but I have always been a HUGE fan of that look. Such an overt form of femininity, full of pride and sass and boldness for the sake of celebrating one's own sex appeal without thinking of people you're trying to please with it. I mean, how many heterosexual guys go bonkers for big earrings and elaborate nail art anyway?
And these studded boots! I have hated Jeffrey Campbell Lita boots for suuuuch a long time because they reminded me of horses and hooves, but this studded suede pair of knock offs has made me do a full 180 on the matter. I think these babies are GORGEOUS. It's not even logical, I just fell for these so hard. Sort of like my shame-crush on Dan Karaty. I CAN'T HELP IT YO
My honest review: I have difficult feet (flat, narrow, STUPID) and quite often the shoes I order online fit me like a washcloth fits a banana: not at fucking all. So it was a very pleasant surprise when I put these on and they fit my foot snugly -> good support for my sad feet. Affordable shoes often have a short arch which makes me scrunch my toes and gives me a crampy calves. Not so with these bad boys!
I wouldn't go as far to say that they are COMFORTABLE (I ain't no liar), but they are quite easy to walk in for shoes this high (12cm), and they fit my foot nicely. The look and the way they fit make them worth the money I spent on them, so if you were waiting for someone's opinion: I'd say go get them!
Soooo what do you think? Do you hate Lita and her lookalikes, or are you on sale selling sold?
