Retro Hair: First Attempt + Shoeclip Giveaway!

Now, this outfit is just wrong: the colors are all kinds of feh together, nothing really matches. No, I'm lying, I actually think the socks look great with the shoes. But the dress, the belt and the socks+shoes: oh honey no. I should've gone with a beige, white or pale blue dress or even a pink one, but not this. HOWEVER, I'm going to post it anyway because it is the ideal intro for a different post I have in store for you guys. Let me explain: after falling hard for retro inspired make up and clothes, I'm exploring retro hairstyles. This is my very very first, modest attempt at a retro hairstyle. Victory rolls for sissies so to speak. It would have looked SO much better with some loose curls in my hair, but I didn't know how to go about to create that kind of look so I just kept it as it was. BUT, my frustration DID inspire me to go check out some retro haircurling options online... Alas, you'll have to be patient, but let me tell you: I have had a hair-epiphany and got LOADS of compliments today, so stay tuned for one of these days!
