I'm still looking for more ways to wear my loafers and brogues, which as you know I refuse to wear without socks or tights because unless your toes and heels are calloused like hell, you simply can't wear shoes like that for any length of time without your blisters getting blisters. I shopped around a bit and in the end, I found these adorable sheer, floral socks at ASOS that look super chic with my brogues and sneakers AND keep my feet from chafing up. I love how they lend a bit of dandy-esque flair to this otherwise super casual, utilitarian outfit. The whole look is kind of androgynous and these brogues are just stunning! I'd advise you to size down though, their fit is on the generous side.
I'm super grateful to Natasja for helping me out this particular day: we met up for pictures, but my lens broke just before we meant to get started and Natasja brought her own camera to try out. The pictures actually turned out quite nicely, despite not using a DSLR, which is in no small part thanks to Natasja, who has a great eye for framing a picture just so.
Hope your Monday was lovely and less cold than mine! It seems we're back to winter temperatures all of a sudden and I'm not digging it one bit.
