This outfit consists of old and new stuff: the skirt is SO old. So old that I think I already owned it back when this blog didn't exist yet, and I was only doing my thang on Chictopia (see me wear the skirt back in early 2010 when I still had a pixie haircut). And then the skirt got lost in the crevices of my closet, and I never figured out what happened to it. Who loses clothes, right?? Last week I found it under some old purses, washed it and promptly put it on to go to work. It's still a really cute skirt, I love the fullness of it and the fact that it has two layers. Makes it less flimsy than many other summer skirts from highstreet brands.
The new here, is the jacket. An awesome, marled grey moto jacket in jersey, gifted to me by ONLY. It's also available in a baby pink btw, really cute. But I prefer the grey as it is more versatile. I wear so much grey and black during the colder months, so I'm sure I'll get loads of wear out of this one. The thick jersey fabric makes it a perfect transitional piece, light like a cardigan but warm enough to function as a coat on chilly mornings. Since the afternoon sun still packed plenty of heat, I finished the outfit with a pair of sandals. Schizo transitional outfit, but pretty cute, no?
