dress: Primark - purse: Pimkie - clogs: Lotta from Stockholm - sunglasses: H&M - watch: Swatch
One day I nag about not wanting to be pinned down to the whole sweet vintage aesthetic, and the next I walk out in a lemon printed promdress with red, quirky clogs. BITCH DON'T KNOW WHAT SHE WANT is what you're probably thinking, and it's not ENTIRELY true. I mean, I know what direction I want to take, but I still have a lot of perfectly adorable vintage-y stuff in my wardrobe. I'm not going to throw all of that out, you know! I'm just not going to pair this dress with one of my flower headbands, that would be a bit much for me right now. But clogs go with everything so WHATEVS. I feel like the blue accents give this outfit a bit of an edge anyway.
GRATUITOUS COUPLE SHOT! The boyfriend wears nice brogues and red trousers.
Ik ben echt jaloers op die jurk! So pretty, so Moschino ;)

ReplyDeleteit's good to be all vintage and girly one day, and all edgy the other day! It's the fun part of getting dressed up :P
ReplyDeleteYou look great in girly-girly and in boyish, in edgy and in flowers... So why not?
That said, this dress is aweeeeeesome!!! Love the whole outfit.
Prachtige jurk!
ReplyDeleteOh how I love that dress! And yes, even though you don't want to be vintagey/girly as much I think you can make all your gorgeous dresses work for a new style :D

That dress could totally be punked/grunged up. More difficult to make it minimalist though. ;) I know you're all over the retro aesthetic, but it just looks so good on you...
ReplyDeleteI think something as simple as adding converse and a fuss free pony tail would already make this the sort of tomboy preppy thing I'm aiming for, but it was too hot! :D I'm not all over it though, don't worry, I still love my dresses! It just doesn't excite me as much anymore.
ReplyDeleteThese photos are really gorgeous and lovely. I know exactly what you mean. I hate the idea of being tied to one style or niche but then I wear/have a lot of the same style stuff. Ah well. Oh, and that shoes picture is just too cute!
ReplyDeletefirst time seeing dress like that! so sweet and cute and paired it with red clogs? PERFECT XP

ReplyDeleteLooking good!
That is so sweet & amazing dress. You look great.
ReplyDeleteI loved those shoes.
Haha I'm not sure if I've told you this before but I LOVE YOUR SENSE OF HUMOR (taking your Kanyecap advice, yo).
ReplyDeletecuuuuuuuuuuteee!
Just play around.
ReplyDeleteI know, het zit gewoon in mijn hoofd.
ReplyDeleteI love those clogs! And lol, I always crack up when reading your posts. It's nice to get a bit of humor from the blogging world!
ReplyDeleteI like that shot of both your feet, your man has great style too! you look adorable on this dress but aah, you could always throw a T over & put on some tennies if you're going for a more casual/grundge look. and shame belgium weren't closer and I'd bed to swap you some things!
ReplyDeleteLove that dress!!! Zo'n leuke print! :-)
ReplyDeleteYour lemon print dress is amazing! Such a summery piece and the shape looks wonderful on you. I really like the red clogs paired with it.
