You know me, I'm always on the lookout for new ways to style my hair (pin curls, rag curls). Right now, I'm obsessing over retro waves a la Lana Del Rey and Veronica Lake, and I sort of know how to go about and create it after googling youtube tutorials but I haven't tried it out yet. What I DID try out a while ago was if my old-ass hot rollers were still working! I wasn't into getting electrocuted so I was cautious, but in the end I survived. Yeay! Dying is SO two thousand and late. And the curls were actually OK, cute even. Next time I'm brushing them out to get me some proper Lana waves.
I rolled my rollers like this but I don't think the way you roll them makes a huge difference. Any tips on hot rollers or Lana waves?
This is beautiful! I wish I could do my hair like that, it needs to grow a bit first!

ReplyDeleteIt looks really really pretty!
ReplyDeleteYour hair looks amazing! You kinda have a katy perry look to you.

Love the curls! They really suit you :).
ReplyDeleteHello hello :) Do you use any product on your hair when you curl it - or just water/heat? If you don't then it might be an idea to as it will give you a much better hold. If you don't want to use anything strong on your hair like a setting lotion- then I can recommend either a leave in conditioner or there is a recipe for a natural home made setting lotion from me here: http://bit.ly/xqbgO0
ReplyDeleteI would recommend sleeping in, possibly, rags overnight and then brushing out. Might be an idea to use a bit of heat if you use the set flax seed setting lotion :)
I can well understand the Lana-session. Her hair is lovely (and set by professional I'd wager.. *wink*)
I wish I had a pro doing my hair :( thanks for the tips! mousse and dampening work like a charm for keeping the curls :)
ReplyDeleteThese curls look SO good, so feminine and girly and amazing. I love it like this

ReplyDeleteI love your hair like this, it is so pretty! I don't even think you need to brush it out, looks adorable the way it is, especially with your coloured ends peeking out!
ReplyDeleteMoowie! Ik denk dat mijn haar ook weldra weer de lengte heeft om pincurls te doen! Yay!
ReplyDeletewow this is so beautiful! I love it. I want the hair :]
ReplyDeleteLove your hair like this, just risk electrocution to look this cute ;)
ReplyDeleteSuper!
ReplyDeleteI am LOVING your ombre hair. With those cute curls it's even better! Makes me want to cut my hair again :)
