No post over here today, I'm taking a chilled night off watching Game of Thrones (total guilty pleasure) so check out my guestpost over at Missing Lovebirds! Elanor is off looking at colleges and I am just blabbering on about stuff and I share these pics I loved but didn't use yet. Makes me miss bare legs weather and my hot pink ends.
Enjoy your Friday night, guys! I'll be off checking out hot people in terrible wigs talking about how to seize power and how "winter's coming" and shiz.
Beautiful girl, weird haircolor (and grey eyebrows).
Much better.
ALSO, I just need to get this off my chest. Cynthia Nixon, AKA Miranda Hobbes of SATC is not, I repeat NOT an ugly chick. Whenever I hear/read people talking about how she is clearly the repulsive one out of the bunch I'm like DUDE seriously do you have eyes in your HEAD??? It's not because someone has an awful haircut and crappy styling that she becomes ugly with the snap of a finger, unless you follow moronic Hollywood logic.
She may have her charisma, voice and mannerisms working against her, but if you ask me she's the most clasically pretty of the four of 'em. Samantha smiles like Austin Powers
The last time Carrie Bradshaw looked hot was when she played a witch in Hocus Pocus
and Kristin Davis has a weird nose
OKEY?????
Now, to be clear: I'm just being silly here, I actually hate it when people start nagging about women's appearances on the telly as if that's the only thing that makes them relevant. HOWEVER, Cynthia is NOT ugly (and neither are the other women). That is all. And I'm ranting about this because I can't register on IMDB.com to tell people off about it, this thread seriously ticked me off. Don't ask me why I was even reading it.
PS she was totally stylin as a kid

I'm adoring that bright ombre on you!!!
ReplyDeleteYour hair is soo lovely! I wish I had the guts to do something like that with my hair! xo
ReplyDeleteJe dip and dye is echt mooi! Lovely dress btw :)
ReplyDeleteOoooh I adore the lighting in these photos! I shall check out the post :) xx
ReplyDeleteI always wish they would dye actor's brows to go with their hair. I mean really... Legolas anyone? BLACK brows and WHITE hair, oye.
ReplyDeleteI love your dress, and these tstrap shoes are friggin cute. I get so annoyed when I see people with different coloured hair/eyebrows (mostly blonde and brown) it looks so weird!!
ReplyDeletexJennaD
beautiful dress!
ReplyDeleteWoohoo guest posts! EEEW! That blonde hair is gross, she looks a million times better as a brunette.
ReplyDeleteOff to check out your guest post :)

I've been starting to watch Game of Thrones. I kept hearing how good it is. I didn't know it was supposed to be a guilty pleasure!
ReplyDeleteOh my, you look gorgeous! I love those polka dots. As for Cynthia Nixon, no way- she's without a doubt gorgeous. In fact, there are very few actors and actresses that are *truly* ugly... maybe just not your standard holywood pretty, but their features are still symmetrical... which I think is technically attractive, right? :) Silly judgmental peoples!
ReplyDeleteAya ♥ Strawberry Koi
you look so pretty and crazy pics!!! love them!
ReplyDeletei loved her on hocus pocus because i realized that she is an excellent singer! fabulous post girl and i loved your action pic, what a movement!
ReplyDeleteexactly my opinion on the matter, check out "hollywood homely" on tvtropes.com, very funny and absolutely true :-D
ReplyDeleteI can't believe how good "calisi" looks with dark hair! and I love miranda, especially as she "grows up" towards the end of the show, she becomes more and more gorgeous! I could even say that there's a tiny resemblance between the 2 of you :)
ReplyDeleteFeminazi & dry spell.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous dress! I've made a post about you in my blog!
ReplyDeletexoxo
What a mean thread!! I totally agree with you, I always thought she was the more 'classically' beautiful whereas the others fit the more 'conventional' pretty sort of group. I actually love her for her red hair and I would seriously love to have my hair that colour, in fact I've tried but the hairdressers never get it right =( Think I'm gonna have to just do it on my own once I'm over the pink hair which is faded like yours now but it has a 'peachy' sort of look =)

ReplyDeleteooh, can you get me a link? :-) thanks!
ReplyDeletewhen my hair is short I get that ALL the time :D why do you think I defend her, haha :D
Sad but true.
I love that you're watching Game of Thrones! It's an excellent adaptation of the books, which are so so so worth a read! I do feel like Sansa Stark's story is given short shrift in the show though. Her chapters in the book are very interior, so of course, visually it's hard to get across her inner monologues. But she's a wonderful deconstruction of the helpless princess trope. And her sister Arya is a wonderful deconstruction of the heroic tomboy trope. Ugh, love those two.
ReplyDeleteoh yes I totally want to read the books, the series is really good and I love fantasy!
ReplyDeletehaha no I'm just very picky when it comes to what I watch en some of the scenes are so corny and cliché but the storylines are so exciting! :D
