Mustard, Lilac and Old Antwerp College

Last week after class I met up for drinks with my friends Eline and Rosalie and of course I badgered them to come with me and take my pictures. I don't know if it's a boy/girl thing, but my boyfriend hates taking my picture while all my girlfriends love it. Maybe he's just a spoilsport.

ANYWAY, we set out to find a great background for my pictures. Sadly, Eline really sucks at finding good pictureplaces (srsly Eline!) so it took a while before we found a good spot, but when we did we totally lucked out. The old college in Antwerp was a beautiful place I had never visited before. These creepy but beautiful buildings have seen many generations of students enter starry eyed and leave as richer individuals. And there I was in my retro ensemble! Did the weathered walls blink twice, wondering whether they had dreamt the time passing by so fast?



How awesome would this place be for a Halloween shoot? Yeah I know I keep going on about Halloween but I'm really into themes I guess. October = Halloweenmonth! Did you guys already checked Rookiemag's articles on all things awesome and scary? If not, go do it right now. I especially loved their piece on terrifying children's fiction since I have always been a horrorfan, starting from when I was still a wee babe.


But I'm not done sharing pics yet: after doing the "official" stuff, me and my friends started goofing around and then some dude who used bloody sheep heads in his artwork according to Rosalie came by and wanted to be in the picture with us which was awesome and also I wanted his coat.

    I would have never thought to pair mustard with lilac but it looks so great together!! I love that cardigan. And this location is so wonderful for taking pictures, totally puts me in the mood for halloween :D. My boyfriend is good about taking my pictures, but in the winter by the time I see him it's super dark out!

    Haha, mijn broertje doet dat ook niet graag terwijl mijn vriendinnen dat wel graag doen. Vrij normaal dus dat jouw bf dat niet graag doet :). Leuke locatie en leuke vest! En jouw vriendin heeft echt een prachtige broek aan!
