sweater, gloves, hat, skirt, necklace, tights: H&M - boots: Sacha
SO MUCH SNOW! Works great with pastels, dontcha think? I bought this silver skirt in the sales - and YES, 99% of my sales buys ended up being stuff from H&M but H&M has good ethics and designs so I have zero regrets. It used to be this strange length in between a mini and knee length which made my legs NOT look like their hot self (lol) so I just cut off a few inches and voila. I always shop with an open mind: you don't find a silver, leather look skirt for 10€ everyday, so when you do and it's SLIGHTLY less than perfect, you look for ways to make it work. And the fabric of this skirt doesn't require hemming so it just needed some easy snips. I like the slightly rough look of the hem, très authentic punk rock.
A vibe which I completely destroyed by pairing it with pretty, fluffy, cutesy pink pieces! Yeay! Btw, because this is a style blog and you probably really DO care about these sorts of things: I spent like 20 minutes deciding which tights and shoes to pair with this outfit. Light or dark? Printed or solid? SIRIUS ISSHOES. I ended up going for navy tights with grey-ish shoes because light tights would just have made this outfit too sugary sweet in my opinion, but black would have looked too harsh. Just in case someone googles 'what tights/shoes to wear with pastel outfits': you're welcome!
I don't know if it's awful manners, but I totally bought this necklace as a Christmas present for my sis, and then I fell in love with it so much I had to own it myself and got another one for moi. It's so pink and wonderfully bling! I've got to say, my Diamanti Per Tutti necklace has gotten me back into wearing jewelry after years of not bothering. But adding a weird piece of jewelry totally works as a marker to set you aside from "normal" people as a "blogger" person. Just like impractical shoes. In case that's the statement you want to make.
PS: I just took the plunge and ordered my future favorite coat - and yes, it's faux fur. I even photoshopped it on me to help me decide. I am only a tiny bit crazy.
Hope your weekend was great! Mine was, albeit a bit too short. Bye!

I lurrrrrrrrve this jumper... so pink... so fluffy! Love.
ReplyDeleteEverything is so nicely coordinated! When the snow comes I end up piling so many disorganised an pd ridiculous layers on and looking a little more homeless than chic... haha!
Gorgeous photos by the way!

You bought the purple one? :D
Looking hot in snowscape with pastels miss annabeth!
ReplyDeletenoooo the white one! :D
ReplyDeleteAww I really liked the purple one haha. But the white one will suit you so well! I can imagine it with the sweater in this post, you'll be so fluffy!
ReplyDeleteduuuude I photoshopped it on me in the last pic, didn't you see?? :D you don't have to imagine! :D And yeah, the purple one was my runner up but sadly I think it's more burgundy in real life than purple, and for some reason I just don't enjoy wearing burgundy as much as I wish :(
Mad skillz! Ma zo'n leuke outfit!
ReplyDeleteyes I saw, but I can like... imagine it for real haha. OK, that sounds stupid, but it's true. Nahh, the purple on the photo was nice, but you really have to see colour in real life, it's so different from photos. It's why I don't really like online shopping.
ReplyDeleteYES I totally agree, I was in love with the purple in that one picture but all the other pictures I saw were a brown-ish burgundy and that doesn't tickle my fancy as much. I always try to search for LOADS of pictures when shopping online, and google real people who bought the item and wear it in outfitposts etcetera!
ReplyDeleteYeah me too! I did it with the Carnation Pink, from your hair dye tutorial. I just googled some pics, to search for people with the same hair colour and such. I always search for reviews too, or bloggers who wear something. We're smart!
ReplyDeleteWaaauw, very pretty deze foto's! Loveee <3
ReplyDeletethat's the BEST thing about the huge trend of blogs appearing, in my opinion! Especially when it comes to make up etcetera!
ReplyDeletehaha that's a look too you know! :D
ReplyDeleteLOVE these pics!!! YES to pastels & snow, they look so right.. Much love for this outfit, simple and cute and not-so-cute-rock-chic alltogether, eheh
ReplyDeleteI have to say I don't like fluffy things as already told you, but in the photoshopped pic it looks like a perfect thing to wear on snow so yay!
I love the softness of these photos. I love how snow enhances photos, esp with a outfit full of pastal pinks. I love the whole look esp the coat!!

You're so cute and wintery and adorable. I love your pink mittens and hat. I can't wait to see how your new fur coat looks too!
ReplyDeleteWat een zalige jas! Wilikook!
ReplyDeleteZo mooie foto' weer!
