I need to get all the use I can out of this cardigan before we've all gotten tired of Christmas, so I've been wearing it pretty often lately. Feels almost like decorating yourself like a Christmas tree! Which is pretty cool. Even though this outfit isn't really "me" anymore, just a tad too sweet-vintagey to really inspire me. It's strange how an outfit can just feel not-you like that.
Also, I secretly really hate the color red 99% of the time. It's so harsh! Gosh, I really suck at selling my own outfit, don't I? I mean it's OK and Christmassy, but I don't LOVE it like some other outfits. SORRY
dress: Zara - cardigan: New Look - faux fur collar: H&M - boots: Forever21
Super snoezig jurkje, het zwiebert mooi en je weet dat ik ook rood haat. :D Maar wel een heel leuk vestje natuurlijk.
ReplyDeleteI loooove this outfit. :) You look gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI love the fur scarf.

Dress your life.
That thing's AWESOME! :D
ReplyDeleteAwesome cardigan! But I probably wouldn't have gone for red on red, like yourself I'm not the biggest fan of wearing that color, so yeah :)
ReplyDeleteI love Christmas knits! And your dress is cool too! Very nice outfit!
ReplyDeleteWell, I still like the vintagey sweet look so I think you look great! It's a funny thing about red, it's not my favourite colour at all, but in the winter I wear it all the damn time because it's one of the few things that gives me colour. I think it makes you look lovely and rosy too, since you and I are basically the same colour anyway. :)
ReplyDeletestrange thing is, I do like red for certain items, like simple sundresses or winter sweaters, but I never end up wearing them as much as my other colors. It's a color that's hard to style with other colors, i think, because it's such an attention grabber!
ReplyDeleteHaha weird, I consider it one of my basic colours... but I don't wear it much in the summer because it's a bit overpowering.
ReplyDeleteIt's so funny that I found your blog and started liking your style based on how you used to dress aka more vintage/girly. I really like your style now even though I tend towards more vintage/girly now than I did a couple years ago. I need to learn how to mix both sides of my style like you do. Always an inspiration! :)
ReplyDeletethat's so sweet! yeah I worry a bit about alienating my readers sometimes because most of them found me when I had that vintage phase, so I'm happy to hear you still enjoy my posts :)
ReplyDeleteI hope to buy one for next Christmas. I'd wear it too if I had one now.
