Yeaaaay these pictures were taken by pretty Polly Polienne! She's such a pro, I've missed outfitshoots with her and Elien but sadly I'm not in Antwerp anymore during the week, not on the regular at least. I sure do miss that beautiful city though. I absolutely love being able to go from home to work in 10 minutes, but Antwerp will always have my heart. Antwerp might not be London or New york, but there's something about spending my time in that city... it inspires me.
But the MOST excited thing about today was, without a doubt, finally finding the fluffy H&M sweaters I had been obsessing over for weeks. I mean, people use that phrase about obsessing ALL the time in all kinds of contexts but I think I've been looking for the perfect fluffy, big, square, SLIGHTLY oversized sweater for about a year now. Fluffy sweaters were hip in the 60s and 90s but they've been pretty invisible for a while, so I basically looked and looked until my eyes fell out (or until I settled of a less than perfect alternative). I'm happy to tell you that I finally found my holy grail! I'll probably wear them all the time until you get sick of it. Or not, because I have so many clothes I can barely get enough wear out of all of it, let alone make you sick. And THAT's pretty sick. But, you know. I don't have a lot of hobbies.
Another item I bought in the sales: this skirt! I spotted a similar one on Paulien and I fell in love, so when I ran into this particular piece in H&M I was like YEAY now I can get all creepy Single White Female on Paulien's ass and wear that shit to meet up with her! Haha. I had a bit of trouble finding a sweater to wear with this outfit and then the gold sweater caught my eye and EUREKA! It works so well together, very Christmassy.
