No recap from me this year. I hate recaps. I mean, I hate my own recaps. I love other people's recaps (I'm hypocritical like that) so please don't let me limit you from recapping your little heart out. I choose to focus on tomorrow rather than yesterday. Whenever I get contemplative and start reminiscing I'm just buying a one way ticket to downsville, and I don't feel like sojourning there. NON MONSIEUR. So I'm just going to finish our bottle of wine, shut off my laptop and cuddle up to my boyfriend in bed (I'm not really a party girl I guess).

I do want to thank you all for reading all of my verbal dribble and commenting and being awesome and sharing that awesomeness with me the past year. I've tried to keep improving my blog so it stays fun and, I don't know, inspiring? Above all, I want to keep looking for myself, for my place, for the hole in the puzzle where my jigsaw piece will fit. Both in my online and offline life. And I hope we will keep on enjoying sharing that journey with each other. Here's to more of that next year!

  1. Glad to be a part of your online life for 2012. Happy New Year, Annebeth! <3

  2. Happy New Year! Snuggling sounds like a lovely way to bring in the new year.

  3. Happy New Year to you too. I sure will be very happy to continue sharing said journey with you. And you are inspiring, never doubt that.

  4. Don't tell anyone, but I actually skip all the recap posts. I saved mysellf from opening about 100 entries from it. Thank you!!! haha. Hope you have a great year.

  5. I should have titled this "NO RECAP NY POST" :D and the same to you :)

  6. Happy new year 2013

  7. i do kind of love that you said enjoy sharing the journey together which is a little cheesy and then superficial bullshit on the recent but both are perfectly fitting. i do love seeing recap highlights since they usually include ones I happened to have missed but your reasons are good for not doing on. Mine will probably be the opposite, the help me remember the good moments, but that's one thing I love about your blog, you're not afraid to share your opinions. and I think cuddlying up in bed w/ the one you love sounds like a great new years, partying w/ strangers or even good friends seem so overrated to me now and being with loved ones seems like the most appropriate way to ring in the new year. Hope 2013 brings you lots of "jigsaw finding" moments!, wish it would have worked out to meet in person, but tot. understand that it couldnt.

  8. Happy 2013, may we enjoy your ramblings for ever after :-D
Keep being your lovely, real and down-to-earth self and you'll see me back here in 2013
(Haha, now it sounds like a threat but you know what I mean, it's just a compliment :-D )
