Ah, finally it's cold enough to bring out my trusty winter coats again. I think I've had this coat for at least 3 winters, and I still love it to bits. A classic pea coat or oversized blazer type of coat really never goes out of style and suits anyone, in my opinion. This one has long, thin lapels and slightly cropped, narrow sleeves to balance out the lack of structure in the shoulders. The same fit as my much loved Pull&Bear coat, really. I guess that's the blueprint of my perfect coat. I never really like structured shoulders on myself.
This outfit is super 70s. I've been feeling a bit of rekindled love for vintage of the eras I used to love so much: 60s-70s. I've been way more into 80s-90s lately, but fall and having a job seems to bring out my love for elegant dressing. And you can say a lot about most of the 80s and 90s, but elegant they were not. Or maybe this is just the logical result of me having to wear my old winter gear. WHO KNOWS??!!
