dress, tights: H&M - boots: Forever21 - coat: Pull&Bear - purse: Pimkie - watch: c/o Swatch - scarf: c/o Jackpot (my opinion: pretty, but ridiculously pricey for a scarf that's 60% acrylic)
ARGH this early darkness is BUSTIN MA BALLS MANG. How am I supposed to have a job and take pictures and blog, HM? TELL ME PLZ. These pictures were shot at about half past five when me and the boy got home, but it was already practically pitch black outside. As far as it ever gets pitch black, with all of the light pollution in Western Europe.
You might have noticed I ended up buying these boots in two colors. I have never, EVER encountered a super cheap boot that fit me as well as these do. I have flat feet, and even more expensive boots never seem to accommodate my arch (or lack of it), so I was over the moon to find that these boots are actually comfortable for an entire day of walking despite having a 6-7cm heel. The secret is to have enough room for your toes, while still having the largest part of the shoe fitting your foot snugly. Since these boots are pretty, comfortable, flattering and incredibly versatile, I could talk myself into buying them in two colors. Something I've never done before.
The dress is mega old (proof here), as is the purse I bought around the same time. Both are super cheap but continue to be pieces I keep reaching for: the kind of basics that I don't get tired of, even when I embrace new trends. I think this coat will get the same status in my wardrobe, I love it SO MUCH.
ENOUGH random dribble for today. I'm going to visit my brother and his family in Amsterdam tomorrow, taking the drive over there with my guy, my sis and our mom (me and my sister's mom, not me and my boyfriend's mom cuz that would be way awkward). Can't wait to see my little baby nephew again!
