I feel like I keep repeating myself but I've been really busy these days, so excuse me for the gap between posts. I haven't even been able to catch up with Stranger Things season 2! I hope I make up for it by sharing some cool outfits though. This skirt for example is such a great piece - I've been getting compliments and comments on it non stop, both on and offline. A real crowdpleaser, and I think it will look SO cute styled in some holiday party looks. Festive but still totally wearable for a day at the office.
And this top is actually a dress. Wearing a dress as a top takes me wayyyy back to my early days of blogging, back around 2010, when all the young girls were trying to stretch their wardrobe as far as they could by wearing dresses as tops or as skirts, DIY-ing accessories, sprucing up simple basics with funky coloured tights etcetera. I like seeing things come back like that, and I have always liked the philosophy behind it. Being a student, working with a tight budget and making the most out of the pieces you love instead. Not that I'd ever go back, though. I love having some extra budgetary space for frivolousness. Great reason not to have kids, too. I think that's something I've never really written about here, my conscious choice not to want kids? Something for another day when I have more time, sorry! ;-)
Hope you like the look!
