I don't know if I've talked about my recent obsession with everything yellow on here before, but yeah, the obsession has been real ever since I saw how radiant Emma Stone looked in that one La La Land scene. It's generally not easy to find that type of clasically feminine dress at a lower price point in regular stores, so I have been stalking my favourite vintage store for yellow dresses over the past couple of months. When I stumbled upon this beauty for just €4, it was love at first sight for obvious reasons! Honestly, this is probably the most beautiful vintage dress I have scored over all of my years of thrifting. The colour, the print, the cut, the button through closure, it's all just exactly what I love in a garment. I can't wait to take this one with me to roadtrip through California in a couple of weeks!
We shot these pics when my boyfriend and I enjoyed a gorgeously sunny Thursday in Ghent, where we did some shopping and where I had the most sensational slice of rhubarb pie. Absolutely a gorgeous day to remember. It took a while before we found a photo backdrop and lighting I was happy with, but in the end a dress like this makes any setting look great.
We have a long weekend coming up, crossing my fingers for some sun! Hope you'll be having a lovely weekend :-) cheers!
