Summertime when the living is easy

That lyric is so true. I always feel like living is SO much easier when it's warm outside. It starts when you get out of bed in the morning: just the simple act of pulling away the covers and placing your feet on the cold floor is SO much easier if it's warm and you see sun rays peeking through your bedroom curtains. Then you go to the bathroom to shower: you don't have to wait for the bathroom to get warm after you've turned on the radiator, you just undress (if you're wearing any jammies) and hop into the shower, without your skin showing goosebumps the size of Adrien Brody's nose (no offense, he's hellacute but the boy has a serious olfactory advantage). After you've showered, you get dressed. Dressing is also one of those things that are easier when it's summer. Instead of having to pile on the layers of sweaters, thermal underwear and tights, you just slip into a sundress and you're done! And if you need to go somewhere, you don't have to bother with extra scarves and gloves and hats and boots and umbrellas, you just put on some sandals, grab a pair of sunglasses and you're off!
And I haven't even started on ice cream, reading books in my backyard or days at the beach...

Why do I torture myself like this, I have at least another month of chilly temperatures ahead of me :(

this is what I wore today:

dress: pimkie
cardigan: zara
boots: h&m
necklace: h&m

Sorry for the crappy picture quality but my camera wouldn't work with me. I bet it's sick of the winter too :(
