Hi darlings! I hope you have had a beautiful Saturday. Mine was disappointingly cold and rainy, but I ate yummy stuff and wore my clip in extensions so it was a good day all in all. Reason I'm writing these words right now (lulz) is because I have a cool shopping tip for you. I bet you already know about Maasmechelen Village, which is basically like an amusement park but with AWESOME designer/brand outletshops instead of rollercoasters. Same fun level, but not as nausea-inducing. Practically perfect in every way, like Mary Poppins.
Just to illustrate how much I love shopping (sometimes): look, it's me shopping earlier today! I might not look very enthused, but I'm cheering on the inside. Also, how douchy does it make me that I just snapped a picture of myself in a mirror IN PUBLIC? Is it less douche-y if you do this in private? TELL ME
ANYWAY, Maasmechelen Village is organizing a must-visit event that I wanted to tell you guys about: from the 15th until the 20th of May, there will be an exclusive private sale where you'll be able to enjoy discounts of up to 40% ON TOP of the outlet price. Over 100 luxury fashion and lifestyle brands are participating, so regardless of what you're looking for, this will be the perfect opportunity to score some high quality, beautiful items at a fraction of the original price. I for one am looking for my perfect pair of Nike Air Max sneakers, so if I (hopefully) find some time to drop by, that's what I'm looking for.
Also, yeah the summer sales are only a month and a half way, but a month and a half is actually a super long time. Just imagine having to spend a month and a half not eating cheese. SO LONG, right? SO. If you're in the mood for some extraordinary discounts (or a treasure hunt), all you have to do is register here: Private Sale before the 15th of May, with the Private Sale code 'PRIVATE'.
Here's a cute video featuring our 2003 Miss Belgium Julie Taton showing off some of the awesome goodies you can find at Maasmechelen Village. I sure hope she didn't get all of that stuff she tries on for free, because: JEALOUS
The video is in French, but who needs to understand words when you can just look at pretty shoes, right? I for one think this video could have used more shoes and less of everything else, but that might just be me.
Have you been to Maasmechelen Village yet? Will you be taking advantage of the Private Sale?
