Hi babes! My guy and I have been trying to do more on the weekends lately instead of just running errands and spacing out in front of the TV. On this particular Sunday, we set out to visit the Musée Magritte in Brussels, but because we are the people we are, we never actually made it there but instead wandered the city for a couple of hours. It felt like we were on a city trip abroad despite being only about an hour away from home, and the weather was absolutely gorgeous (but freezing) so we took some lovely pictures. Brussels often gets a bad rap (and not completely undeservedly so), but the city has plenty of loveliness to enjoy. Also, I wore a pretty crazy (but cool) outfit. Enjoy!
I thrifted this vintage blazer at Think Twice for just €4 before visiting the Monki Antwerp opening, and I couldn't believe my luck: crazy print, fits like it was tailored to my frame, and there was actually a matching scarf hidden in its pocket. This is why thrifting is so rewarding! Also, loving all the holiday decorations in Brussels' historical center. Those big red bows in the windows - very Nutcracker chic.
After the center we made our way to the Parc de Bruxelles just around golden hour. The light was actually this gorgeous rose-gold, pinkish tint, that kind of colour you only get during a couple of special autumn days.

The Parc de Bruxelles is just outside the gates of the royal palace, so that's where we strolled next!
Wish our home had these pimpin' gold gates, man. I feel like this is exactly what is missing in my life.
Finally, we made our to the Place Royal which was looking gorgeous under the lilac twilight skies.
Would you look at that, it's the Musée Magritte in the background! So yeah, we ended up there but we never visited it. Go figure. We'll be back soon though, there's still plenty to see in Brussels and ever since we finished the amazing lemon meringue pie we brought homefrom Wittamer, we've been dying to get another one.
See you soon, Brussels!
