duster coat: Zohra x Pimkie capsule collection - silk blouse: COS - trousers: c/o Selected - ballet flats: c/o Sam Edelman - watch: c/o Daniel Wellington - necklace: c/o Titto Fashion
I was in love with how this outfit came together: the soft, dusty colours, the flowy materials, the relaxed cuts: it's as if the pieces were meant to be worn together. And my favourite ballet flats finish off the look to perfection. I've always been a fan of ballet influence in fashion, and I feel like this outfit refers to that unforgettable Chloe SS 2011 collection aesthetic in a less literal way. Also, the billowing sleeves layered over each other make me feel like I'm in a costume film, which is pretty cool.
I'm really excited for the next work week: tomorrow I have a short brainstorming session about internet trolling as an academic subject of interest with some colleagues, on Tuesday I'm finally getting feedback on a paper I'm excited to finish and Thursday and Friday are days off thanks to a holiday. A good week indeed! Hope yours will be nice as well.
