Another case of my growing love for simplicity right here. Nothing but shades of white in today's outfit, apart from the boots. But I like how the black boots make this just a bit more wearable. I normally kind of really dislike black shoes with stark white pants, but the fact that my skinnies are more of a shade of muddled grey makes that issue disappear. Yeah, not the most rational reasoning but that's how I roll. Black shoes with stark white clothes feel out of balance to me. Balance is important!
The silky shirt is a sales buy. I've been looking for good, basic tops lately. Actually, with my growing love for simplicity and elegance and my upcoming new job, I've been working on a closet overhaul in general. I'll be sharing some pictures of my closetspace and how I've organized it one of these days (hopefully before it gets all messy agian) but I think I've gotten rid of like, half of all my stuff, trying to get all of it down to pieces I actually love and will wear a lot. No pieces that you're "meh" about, you know? Only 100% yes pieces. But we'll get back to that later! Just rest assured that the pieces I'm wearing here are all keepers.
PS: doesn't this outfit make me look a tiny bit like Russell Brand in that rockstar-pirate kind of way?
