Look at that pretty pale pink brick house behind me! Isn't it PRETTY? And PINK!
It's been a while since I've posted a proper outfit so here you go. I'm pretty sure you've noticed (not in the least since I've been going on and on about it AD NAUSEAM - look at me ma, I know Latin!), but these days my style is more and more about a couple of favourite pieces that I keep revisiting and less about "trend" items that I'm trying out. This has also made me think of the shops I visit: where are my longtime favourite pieces from? Where do I buy the items that I wear a few times and then grow tired of? Another insight that makes me a lot less likely to develop buyer's remorse (or end up with a house full of crap). All of this feels a lot more grown up and serene.
I bought this sweater a year ago and it's absolutely ideal for summer with its lightweight cotton knit. The boots I wear almost daily when I'm not in sandals or sneakers (because they be perf), and I LIVE in shorts when it's warm enough to bare my legs. Last but not least: the duffel bag, which has turned out to pretty much the perfect purse for me. I'm not a "bag" girl and I'm not into designer bags at all, but the large size, the multiple straps, the elegant simplicity of the lines, the casual feel of the shape and the high quality execution all make this bag perfection in a neat leather package. The entire look has a bit of an Isabel Marant feel if you ask me.
