I think this is my fifth blogpost set in Paris, crazy to think that before late 2016, I'd never even visited the city of love. I'm happy that changed, because it has become one of my favourite destinations for a quick getaway filled with beauty, good food and lots of walking. We snuck off for a weekend in the city center just before Christmas, and it was just what the doctor ordered: a break from the daily grind and some quality time to be spent with my love.
I already blogged about the first two days, and this post features the pics we took when we stopped by the Eiffel tower just before heading home. Get yourself a guy who will make an hour-long detour before a 3h drive just so you can see the Eiffel tower again. The pics were totally worth it, though, we were blessed with a chilly but mostly clear day and I was wearing a super cute (Christmassy) outfit so everything was working for me.
Btw, just before checking out we had brunch at Benedict in Le Marais: total recommendation. Friendly, attractive staff, truffle fries and delicious variations on my fav breakfast dish: eggs benedict. Bookmark that shit! And enjoy the pics.

Had to add that last pic even though it was taken in Le Marais instead of near the Eiffel Tower, just because I love the backdrop so much.
Happy Friday!
