Hi guys! We've just come home from an amaaaazing Japanese dinner at Minato Antwerp and I'm still enjoying the aftertaste and that content feeling of having eaten a truly delicious meal. The food was probably the very best thing about our Japan trip, but the sad thing is that it's SO hard to find that kind of cooking in Belgium. Most Japanese food you find here is sushi, or some kind of chain restaurant, and neither of those come close to the comfort food quality you get from pork belly ramen with that amazing rich broth. Thankfully, Minato hit all the right notes and we can't wait to get back!
Another thing that's exciting (or at least it is to me): my growing obsession with vintage Levi's. I used to be a HUGE vintage lover (just check my archives circa 2011) and mom jeans have totally rekindled my love for thrifting. Whenever Think Twice is having their monthly sale, I get my butt over there to try all the vintage Levi's and I've since bought like 6 pairs for a grand total of something like €25. Mom jeans and culottes have totally changed up my wardrobe, making things just a bit more relaxed and effortless, but there's something about the fit of high waisted, hip skimming denim that also feels quite sexy. They also work really well with crop tops, as you can see! Oh, and I'm wearing NYX soft matte lipcream in Copenhagen in these shots btw, and while the look is kind of goth, I think it works.
Have a lovely weekend!
